นับตั้งแต่มีการเสนอแนวคิดและมาตรวัดการอบรมเลี้ยงดูตามแนวคิดของ Baumrind (1971) ก็ได้มีนักวิจัย น าแนวคิดนี้ไปใช้อย่างแพร่หลาย ในปัจจุบันมีการน าเสนอรูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูต่าง ๆ ที่นอกเหนือจากแนวคิดของ Baumrind อยู่เป็นจ านวนมาก ผู้วิจัยจึงมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการทบทวนวรรณกรรมอย่างเป็นระบบ เพื่อวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์แนวคิดและมาตรวัดรูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง จากการศึกษางานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ การอบรมเลี้ยงดูฉบับภาษาอังกฤษ จ านวน 19 เรื่อง พบรูปแบบการเลี้ยงดูรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ การอบรมเลี้ยงดู แบบมิติบวกลบ การอบรมเลี้ยงดูแบบเฮลิคอปเตอร์ การอบรมเลี้ยงดูอย่างใส่ใจ และการอบรมเลี้ยงดูในรูปแบบอื่น ๆ ที่อาจสะท้อนนัยทางวัฒนธรรมของแต่ละพื้นที่ เมื่อพิจารณานิยามและข้อกระทงของมาตรวัดการอบรมเลี้ยงดูรูปแบบ ต่าง ๆ พบว่า มีใจความของมาตรบางส่วนที่สอดคล้องใกล้เคียงกับมาตรวัดการอบรมเลี้ยงดูที่เสนอโดย Baumrind มีใจความของมาตรที่ต่อยอด เพิ่มรายละเอียดสถานการณ์การเลี้ยงดูให้มีความชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้น และมีใจความของมาตร ที่แตกต่างไปจากมาตรที่มีอยู่เดิม ของ Baumrind เช่น การใช้สติการรู้เท่าทันอารมณ์เข้ามาร่วมในการอบรมเลี้ยงดู อย่างใส่ใจ การปกป้องลูกไม่ให้ลูกได้พบเจอกับความยากล าบากและความผิดหวังในการอบรมเลี้ยงดูแบบเฮลิคอปเตอร์ เป็นต้น ผู้วิจัยคาดว่าการวิเคราะห์สังเคราะห์ความรู้ที่ได้จากบทความที่เกี่ยวกับรูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูนี้ จะเป็นข้อมูล ส าคัญในการพัฒนามาตรวัดรูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดู ฉบับภาษาไทย ที่มีความเหมาะสมทางวัฒนธรรม และสะท้อนยุค สมัยปัจจุบันได้
Abstract
Since Baumrind (1971) proposed the construct of parenting styles, researchers have been studied the construct widely. Currently there were many other constructs of parenting styles other than the one proposed by Baumrind. The purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review to synthesize and analyze different constructs and measurements related to parenting styles. From 19 articles pertaining to constructs and measures of parenting styles, we summarized different constructs and measures, i.e., multidimensional parenting, helicopter parenting, mindful parenting, and parenting styles with the integration of cultural contexts. Considering definitions and items of the parenting styles measurements, some measures showed content overlapping with the measurement proposed by Baumrind. Some measures contained items that added detailed of parenting situations making it clearer. Some other measures assessed different aspects of parenting styles compared to Baumrind’s, e.g., using mindfulness to understand inner thoughts and feelings incorporation with parenting in mindful parenting, and protecting a child from adversity and disappointment in helicopter parenting. We expected to use the synthesized and analyzed knowledge gained from this systematic review pertaining to parenting styles to develop culturally appropriated and up-to-date Thai version of parenting style measure.
